Mother's Day Makeover Event

Julie Hightower hosts “A Better Day with Julie,” a webshow that features local philanthropic events and efforts, in addition to fashion and beauty stories. Julie organizes a makeover event each year around Mother's Day at a local Chicago organization that she presents on her webshow.

This year’s event will benefit underprivileged women seeking economic independence in the Chicagoland area and will be held on Monday, May 2. 

All proceeds raised will be used to purchase a piece of professional jewlery for each of the 50 women receiving makeovers and any additional funds will be donated to provide additional day-of pampering and benefits to the women.

The Makeover Event will run in 2 sessions and be held at Mane Space Salon, where women will be provided with complete hairstyles, makeup and a manicure to round out the makeover.
