Danijela Medical Fund

Hello everybody,

My name is Gordan Nikic and i live in USA Atlanta GA
I was watching Happy TV Serbian channel when they had a story with Danijelas mother about Danijela.
I  dont know Danijela and her family personely but Iwant to help in anyway posible to help Danijela with her goal to go to Germany for thretment that coasts a lot of money. This is why I deided to creat this Gofunme page for Danijela so we can raise money so Danijela can pay for the tretmant in Germany. All the raised money will go to Danijelas family so they can pay all the medical bills in Germany. When I created this page the text below I copied from Danijelas FB page and the video as well from youtube. I did not know if it will be sucsesful but today Daily Mail had a story about Danijela and it included This GofundMe page. Since than a lot of good people have donaited. This morning when I woke up and saw the story in DailyMail it put a big smile on my face. Thanks a lot for eveybody  who has helpped share this page and has hellped in any way posible. And thanks a lot for all donation and I hope that the money we raise will help Danijela recover. 

Danijela's struggle
Danijela Kovačević from Indjija is in vigil coma for more than five years!

Twenty-two-year-old  Danijela Kovačević from Indjija, Serbia, spends her youth in hospital room. Having fallen in love, she decided to give birth to a child at the age of 17, but she got sepsis during childbirth and her heart stopped beating for around half an hour. Thanks to the persistence and knowledge of the anesthesiologist Dr Stanislav Milovanovic, Danijela won the first battle for her life and her heart started beating again. Since then, she has no conscious communication with the environment: she can see, but does not recognise anyone, she can walk only with assistance, she can move her arms, but not the hands. She is unable to speak or to feed herself. Daniela spent five months at the Rehabilitation centre in Novi Sad.  In the Spring of 2010 she was sent to the Specialised Hospital in Stari Slankamen, a spa near Novi Sad, and is still there. Republic Health Insurance Fund approved a three-month stay in this spa. Further requests to extend her stay were rejected because "there is no adequate code of the disease" . Since then, parents pay about 100,000 dinars (1000eur) a month. Danijela's daughter Marija is five years old now. She knows that her mother sleeps, but Daniela is not aware that Marija exists. Danijela's medical documentation was sent to a clinic in Pforzheim, near Stuttgart, Germany and doctors are very optimistic and say that Daniela may recover, but the first round of treatment (6-8 weeks) cost about 60 000 euros. Parents have asked for help, but faced misunderstanding instead. From the Municipality of Indjija they got only 100 000 dinars (about 1000 euros); no humanitarian organization has responded to their pleas, except the Red Cross organisation Stara Pazova;the Ministry of health failed to help them. Danijela's parents Djordje and Vesna are resolved to fight for Daniela. They created a  group on the social network "Facebook", which today has more than 16 000 members. People all over the world are included.  Daniela and her family are going through a nightmare. Meanwhile, Danijela underwent a hard operation and got her ovary removed. Please help Danijela!
