Heart Transplant for Marisela

Donation protected
I am reaching out for a miracle for my cousin, Marisela Angelina Calleros. A 14 year old girl who lovingly goes by “Selly.”
She has been diagnosed with dilated cardiomyopathy and needs a heart transplant to save her life.  She is at the top of the donor list due to her o negative blood type and will remain in the hospital until she receives her new heart. More than anything, we ask for your prayers. One can only imagine the emotional state of this young girl and our family. This all has happened so quickly our heads are still spinning. If you donate money to help, any amount is humbly accepted and appreciated.

One month ago, Selly was a vibrant, healthy, young girl enjoying life.
In October she caught, what doctors thought, was a stomach virus.  After a few doctor’s visits and no improvement, her mother took her to the emergency room in Colorado Springs, CO. There, doctors sent Selly to the Children’s Hospital in Denver, CO for what they thought to be pancreatitis. On Monday, October 27, 2015, after extensive testing in the ER, they found out it was her heart and she was immediately admitted to the Cardiac ICU. Dr.'s did not know exactly what was wrong but were hopeful it was myocarditis, a treatable condition.  They later found out it was dilated cardiomyopathy and the cause may never be known.
This healthy young girl’s life has completely flipped upside down in a matter of 4 weeks. Selly plays the violin in the orchestra at her school,  and loves to ride her penny board. She is now confined to the hospital until she receives a new heart. Understandably, the emotional state of this child is being threatened too. This cheerful, outgoing, happy girl is now very quiet. She does not understand why this is happening to her. She needs prayer.
The hospital is an hour drive from home where her three siblings are. As you can imagine, travel and visits are difficult. She has loving parents who have rotated between home and the hospital so that Selly is never alone. This is difficult. Work is nearly impossible or even a focused thought right now. Our family is spread through New Mexico, Arizona, and Arkansas. They are alone in Colorado. We cannot be with them now, but we are praying daily.
One way we can help is to raise money to support them financially. That is our hope and plea to our friends, family, and communities. We pray this reaches hearts and they receive the provision they need.
Again, thank you for your prayers.
If you are able to give, our prayer is that you be blessed for giving.
