Bobby and Silvio-TCC Colony Cats

If you read the Kitty Corner regularly then you know about Colony Kitties; the ones that live outside. There are many reasons they are out there. In some cases they were tossed out by their humans and ended up too afraid to look for human companionship again, or the original cats that were tossed out were not spayed or neutered and ended up having kittens. Those kittens, also left without human intervention became feral.
What you might not know is that there is another kind of Colony Cat. They are the ones that live in Caretaker Colonies. These cats and or kittens end up in someone’s yard and the people who live there decide that they will take care of them, even though they are not your typical house pet. They feed them every day and an organization like the Cat Connection does what it can to support them.
Bobby and Silvio are two such Colony Cats and they have been living in their own Caretaker Colony along with a few others for a number of years now. They actually arrived at the man’s house years apart but everyone thinks that they might actually be related. They are very close, look a lot alike and spend most of their time together. Their Caretaker says that they even like to sit opposite each other out in the yard and sometimes they even curl their tails together.
We discovered that Bobby has arthritis and the Cat Connection has helped out by providing medicine for him so hopefully he is not too uncomfortable but we also knew that Silvio was very uncomfortable because of some intense dental problems and we were trying to do everything we could to help him. You, our readers were big help and you all sent in enough money to get Silvio’s teeth taken care of and it even left enough money to help fix Bobby’s teeth too.
Now, Silvio loves seeing his Caretaker Dad come out to feed him and he loves hanging around with Bobby but what he doesn’t love is the way Bobby’s teeth hurt. His Caretaker Dad says he can see how painful it seems to be for Bobby and that he hopes we can help Bobby the way we helped Silvio, but in order to do that we are asking if you, our readers might be able to help once again. The left over money we have will be a start but we really need to come up with more money to complete the work.
You see Bobby has now begun to shy away from their food too, and even with the generous discount that we are given, it is still going to cost a lot of money but with the help of friends like you, our readers we can get it done again. Would you be willing to help us help Bobby?
