Sarah Warren Roberts is an amazing person. She is a mother of 2, wife to Devon, a friend, and a volunteer in the community. Right now she and Devon need your help
After a few weeks of a "cold" they decided to go to the hospital on December 24th, 2015. Within a few hours after some blood tests, they found themselves in the Oncology ward. On Christmas day, she began chemotherapy to help lower her white blood count which was off the charts. Today, just 3 days later, the official cancer diagnosis. Acute Myelogenous Leukemia. From a cold on Christmas to Cancer in a few short days. Their world has been turned upside down by the news. They will be in the hospital a minimum of a month while they prep for rounds of chemotherapy and go through the process of fighting this disease.
They need our prayers and support now more than ever. With at least the next month living in the hospital they have many obstacles to overcome. First and foremost should be their undivided focus on Sarah's healing. With your donations, however small or large, you are helping them worry less about financially supporting themselves, and more on Sarah's health.
The money you all contribute will go directly to helping them fight this disease and get her home to her family. It will also help with any bills, and things they need. If you know Devon and Sarah you know that they are both amazing people who will treat every donation with care and prayer. Your money is going to a great cause.
A small group of friends have already raised more than$5000 in a few days and want to use that money as a challenge and matching fund to get them started off with their battle to get Sarah healthy again.
