A chance to save our honeymoon

Recently all our plans and dreams for the perfect wedding came to a crashing halt. The owner of Tuscany Gardens was arrested on fraud and identity theft and the money we had given him is gone. The remaining funds we have are now going into the legality of it all in hope to get back our $8,000.00; Because of this our wedding is canceled. Leslie and I have already taken time off work and scheduled our honeymoon and I would still like to take her on an amazing adventure inspite of this idiot ruining what was to be a great day for Leslie, myself and all our friends and family.
I feel awkward to ask for help and in the event we regain any of the money I'd be happy to reimburse everyone.
