Help us not freeze

Our apartment's gas was shut off and with winter fast approaching we need to get it back on. We've been trying to get it back on with small monthly payments, but at this rate it wont be turned on any time soon and it's already mid October. We live in a cold climate and having heat is really important for us to survive.
