Poetry Publishing & Art Exhibition

Hello! My name is Alex Roberts and I am in the process of publishing a poetry anthology - but this is no ordinary anthology. I have teamed up with the amazing artist Shirley Sharp, who, upon reading my poetry, asked to illustrate some of them. We are now organising a launch exhibition in January/February to release the anthology, as well as exhibit the stunning artwork she has created from the imagery of the poetry. 

Unfortunately publishing houses are very reluctant to take on unpublished poets - so I'm doing this myself as much as I can. The issue is that printing costs are incredibly high, as is organising a space for a launch. This is where you wonderful people come in to it!

The aim is to reach £1,500 to keep the ball rolling with the publishing, but any more would make things even better! More incredible donations means more copies of the anthology; it's simple.

I have put a lot of my own money into this as I am truly devoted to this. It's my life ambition. Poetry is my life. 

Now for the fun part! There will be gifts for the bigger donators; including signed anthologies, signed copies of the poems, prints of the artwork - and even the chance to get the original, full size, signed, framed artwork with accompanying poem!
