Once in a lifetime field trip

On May 23, 2018 I will graduate from Johns Hopkins University with my Masters of Science in Education. As a first generation college student, I understand the power and importance of representation. I vividly remember the people and experiences that transformed my life, which is why I have dedicated my life to providing our children with opportunities to access to similar experiences. Though my degree will say Alejandro Diasgranados, I cannot take full credit for this degree. 40 third and fourth graders should also have their name on this degree, for they have worked harder than I have over these past two years to earn this degree. Which is why I invite you to help me share this momentous occasion with them. I am planning a field trip to allow my students to attend their very first college graduation, (and the Baltimore Aquarium since they will not receive a Masters).
In order for this trip to happen, I would need 45 people to donate $45.00 (though any amount is appreciated!). Your investment can truly transform a student’s life!
With your help 40 students from DC will:
· Attend their first college graduation
· Visit the Aquarium for the first time (for most)
· Be provided lunch
