Lucky's Cancer Treatment

Lucky Star's ninth year has not been an easy one.  An otherwise health, happy pup, he developed some bad nose bleeds back in the Spring.  Following a surgery & biopsy, we found out it was sarcoma, a dangerous cancer, with a prognosis of three months.

As a two-time cancer survivor myself, I decided to not give up without a fight.  Lucky was there for me in my trials, so we choose to stand by him.  He had a second surgery to remove what cancer they could find, followed by six weeks of radiation.

By summer, he was fine!  Daily walks, playing with his annoying little brother. . . he even came with me across the country for my annual cancer screening in Houston!

This morning, his nose began to bleed again.  I've an appointment for him tomorrow.  We don't know what's coming next, vet, additional surgeries and med costs . . . but vet visits and meds costs add up, fast.  Worse, the costs of his treatment in the Spring are now coupled with my being laid off work.

He's my beloved little boy, who was there for me.
Will you help me be there for him, too?

Thank you so much for caring!
