The Gamecock Battalion at the University of South Carolina is hosting its 8th annual Fallen Heros 5k. This is to bring awareness to those that have sacrificed their lives for our country but also to disabled veterans.
All money raised will be donated to the Disabled American Veterans. The DAV is a non-profit charity that provides veterans with all kinds of benefits, from transport to medical appointments to new job opprtunities.
