Valente, I remember spending my days with you at the shop, being teenagers working through the daily hustle to make or bread. For me it was a sweet job that worked perfectly with my school schedule. For you it was a whole different story. I remember you telling me how you came from Guerrero in search for a better opportunity to work and send money back to your family. It was at that moment that I realized that although we were still teenagers, you were already being a man. Your mind set and outlook on everything was far beyond just yourself. You were a provider for those less fortunate than yourself. Throughout the years I would come into the shop for a slice of two and an occasional guest delivery for Tony ;). You were always there to greet me with a smile and to ask me how I'm doing. I always looked forward to seeing my familiar faces behind the counter and always made sure to call out " Aye Paisita"... You would raise your head with that ear to ear grin and repeat it back to me. You were a solid friend and a pleasure to work with all of the time. I can't believe that we are all on here right now for this tragedy. You were a staple not only to Valentinos but to the neighborhood as well. You will forever be missed whenever we go back home to visit. Valentinos will not be the same but I assure you that Tony and the rest of the family will miss you dearly!!! We pray for your family's strength to heal from this tragedy and may your spirit live on as an example of what a good person should be. With Love and the most Respect !!! Rest In Peace
