Running-for-michael

As some of you may or may not know, Michael was recently in an accident with 5 of his friends who were hit by a car. The accident left Michael with serious injuries to his right foot and four days after the accident doctors had to amputate the leg below the knee. All 6 of the lads involved went to school with my son and are still close friends so this is a cause which is close to my heart. Michael is only 16 and is a keen footballer and sportsman so any funds that are collected will be going towards a specialist sports prosthetic, the more we collect the better the prosthetic! Pretty simple really.

Rather than just asking for money without doing anything I have decided to enter an event called "The Wall"........basically I will be attempting to run from Carlisle Castle to the Millenium Bridge across  the Tyne at Newcastle - thats 69 miles in a day!!
