Funeral for a true Gentleman of RAF

Mr Gerald Sullivan recently passed away at the age of 80. He was an amazing true gentleman, a very happy go lucky kind of guy, very quick with a smile or joke to lighten the mood.
Unfortunately he passed away with no family or any means of a decent funeral. I met Gerald 17 years ago and have viewed as an uncle ever since. I am his nominated next of kin and I am arranging his funeral which will cost just under £4000, an amount I unfortunately just don’t have myself and we are need of help your help to raise funds for the interment fee of £1646 so that we can get his funeral booked with the council.
Gerald served his country during the 1950s in the RAF and we feel that this old gentleman should be laid to rest with the dignity he deserves. Any donations are very much appreciated. Thank you so much to everyone who has or will make a donation.
