Fluxx Studio & Gallery is a non-profit multi-cultural community art space working to provide thoughtful, engaging and socially uplifting events. We are the first and only queer community art space in the Southwest.
Fluxx is a multi-functional safe space designed to host art exhibitions, workshops, meetings, film screenings, health/wellness classes, open mic sessions, visual/performance art, special events and much more.
The building we have loved and dedicated to our community for the last 4 years is up for sale.
Due to these circumstances beyond our control, we must vacate our current location by January 31st, 2016
Fluxx needs your help to establish ourselves in a new space to continue our vital mission!
Funds will be used to help move and establish ourselves in our new rental space. We will need to make many modifications in order to keep Fluxx as a multi-functional, cultural community space and special event venue.
How your money will be used:
>Paying Rent to secure the space for the next 3-6 months
>Utilities, to get us started and keep us going
>Moving expenses, which are not always easy or cheap...we have lots of sensitive equipment to move and hope to continue to untilize
>Re-painting, flooring, lighting, cleaning supplies and more
>Food/beverages for the countless volunteers, who have been and continue to be so dedicated to the Fluxx mission.
Our goal is to secure and modify the new space before January 31st, 2016 so that all of our classes, support groups, exhibitions, etc., are uninterrupted. We don't want to miss a beat in being able to serve our community!
As a token of our appreciation for your support, all donors who contribute will receive an invitation to our 5-year anniversary party - which will also be our housewarming in the new Fluxx location on Saturday, March 26th, 2016.
Words cannot express the gratitude we have for everyone who has supported us past, present and future. We recognize that we could not exist without you and we thank you for your commitment!
