Benefit for Dawnielle

Dawnielle Read lives in Portland TN and is the mother of 7 boys. She was first diagnosed with cervical cancer in 2012. She went through 5 months of chemotherapy and radiation treatments. She was found to be cancer free in the summer of 2013. In December 2013 she found out that she was no longer in remission, and the cancer had returned in her lymph nodes.She is considered stage 3 cancer at this point in time.  She was just released from an 8 day hospital stay with an infection in her port. Her port was removed at that time.  The family is struggling to keep a roof over their head, and their utilities kept on during this time.  Recently it was discovered that there are certain medications that are detramental to her health that are not being covered by her insurance company. This has added an expense to the family of close to $4000. While our current goal is set at $5000,  We are currently working on a Yard sale & BBQ fundraiser that will take place in early May in Portland TN to help with these expenses as well. We currently have the rubber arm bands for sale for $3 each and can be ordered by messaging the admin on www.facebook.com/supportdawnielle .  A support teeshirt is in the works and the design should be released for orders some time this week.
