Support for Hashem's family
£16,459 of £500 goal
Hashem Al-Azzeh was known by many for his unrelenting commitment to a free Palestine, educating each and every one of his guests in the reality of living in Tel-Rumeida and under occupation as a whole. Everyone who met him left Hebron with his story in their mind and his family in their heart. A family now left without a loving father and husband. A family who we would like to support in every way we can starting with this gofundme.
The support so far has been overwhelming. The donations and loving words have come from all over the world proving that resistance is a universal language. Every donation is an act of solidarity.
To the Al-Azzeh family,
We will never forget your hospitality.
We will never forget your kindness.
And we will never forget your courage.
We will keep the GoFundMe page open until 25.10 (this Sunday) at which point we will begin the process of transferring the money to Nisreen. We have people working with us on the ground to ensure every last shekel is given to Nisreen directly, and that she is kept informed of your generosity.
We will keep you updated!
Peace and Love and Solidarity.
Why has the fund been closed after only 4 days friends? I am one of the many who spent time with Hashem and his family in his home (just this August). It would mean a great deal to me and my wife to contribute to this fund, why has it been shut off? Is there another way to contribute in honor of what Hashem and his family have given us?
I remember delicious Kofta I had in Hashem's dinig room on a tour provided by Alternative Tourism Group (ATG). It was in December 2014. I remember very well the quiet manner of his speech, which concealed his resolved to stay on in Hebron no matter what. Every time I look at the picture hung in my offece painted by Nisreen, I miss him and his family. Can someone inform me how Nisreen and her children are getting by?
How else can we be of help??? I met Hashem and his family in 2010 where they shared what kind of atrocities were happening where they were living. Absolutely horrific!!! Please tell me how else I can help. These people deserve justice and it's disgusting that they are being treated this way! Complete violation of human rights---- how does no one see this?! How are we giving this a blind eye?? UN, USA! Come on now!!! Wake up!!
I too, like Jason & his Wife, would like to donate- but it seems I am too late - is there a way for me to still donate?
