A True Story of Amazing Grace.
This is a story of our Angel on Earth. A beautiful, courageous woman that many had the privledge of knowing.
Heather Lynn Wendt lived an amazing life of ups and down, as a child she grew up the oldest daughter and sister of the family. Through two house fires, plenty of struggles with pneumonia she still stood strong for those around her.
She was blessed to have a beautiful baby boy in April of 1994 when she was told it was not a good idea due to her health she fought to have him anyway, did, he grew to be a handsom young man and father himself making her a Grandmother
Throughout the years she fought many battles and won, with grace, dignity, help of her family and friends who to Heather were family as well, she came a long way.
In September of 2012 the battle for her life was now full swing and she received the first of two sets of lungs. By the grace of God and the shear will to live when after the first gift of life did not sustain, Heather suffered a 19 day battle no one else had ever won. With Heather's incredible strength and will she fought till the second gift of life arrived. In 24 hours Heather went from being almost unrecognizable to sitting up in her bed watching the news in true Heather fashion. For the first time in months/years heather was on a road to a new lease on life.
Since then she has lived life, even through all the doctor appointments, monthly blood drips and several hospitalizations being part of her daily life. She still got up everyday, smiled, called friends and went to social outings to make life matter.
As of 03/21/2016 God needed Her more then we did. Her strength and light will brighten the world she is in now.
The family truly appreciates anything that can be done to help, due to Heather's lifelong illnesses, life insurance was not an option. Any donations will be used to cover final expenses.
