Can’t Drive a Broken Car To Work

My car broke down tonight. I spent 150$ I didn’t have on a battery I didn’t need this afternoon because my problem was the alternator. Now my car is sitting in the shop and I don’t have the money to fix it and tomorrow is the start of the weekend I get with my son and I don’t know how I’m going to be able to get him. Since the start of my separation I have been struggling between new bills and over 1,000$ in car repairs I am at my wits end. I know that most of the people I know are as strapped as I am. I know that there are many much worse off than I am but I’m facing a mountain of bills I can’t afford to pay and drowning. The fear is feeding into my depression and I know where this road goes.

Encouragement and memories of good times we have had are going to help me a lot because my mind isn’t helping me remember those.
