Wheelchair Ramp Fund

Hello all! I've created this gofundme because I would like to raise money to purchase wheelchair ramps for my mom's apartment. As it stands, the only way for her to leave her apartment in the wheelchair would be if someone helped her because there are only stairs leading from her front door. When she moved in a few years ago she was able to walk with the help of a walker and was not wheelchair bound. Her spinal condition has progessed significantly since then and she now uses the wheelchair as means for transportation.

My mom has been informed by her doctor that her condition can improve if she is able to make regular trips to an out-patient physical therapy facility in close proximity to her aparment. At this point in time with no way to leave her home on her own she is unable to make these trips and subsequently cannot try and get better. 

If we are able to raise money to purchase this wheelchair ramp my mom would be able to not only leave her apartment to go to physical therapy, but would have the security of knowing that she is able to leave her apartment in case of an emergency. As you all know I currently live in Florida and am unable to help my mom get to doctors appointments and such on my own. Getting these ramps would make a huge difference in her life and would allow her to be able to do so many more things because she would not have to rely on help from other people.
