Mike's Battle with ALS

I am a firefighter from California with 28 years of service. Many times I have been hospitalized from injuries on the job. But recently, I had to retire after being diagnosed with ALS, a terminal disease with no treatment or cure and a life expectancy of 3-5 years. I will soon be in a wheelchair with no ability to walk, talk, or have the use my arms. Any funds donated will be used to purchase medcal equipment, medications, and to hire a fulltime caregiver. If I pass before all of the funds have been used, they will be donated to finding a cure for this horrible disease. Please do not donate if it may cause you a financial burden. I am losing my battle with ALS.  I am on Hospice living at home but today the deicison was made to find a facility that can take care of my needs 24/7 as I am fully paralized now.  I can't use my arms, legs, or stomach muscles to sit up.  My firend is typing this for me.  My wife is worred about the finances and how much a care facility costs.  Please help releave some of the burden of the costs and lesen the stress on my family.  Asking you for help from one man of god to many other true angles of god.
