On October 22, 2015, Megan was the victim of a robbery and assault that occurred in the City of St. Ann, Missouri. The St. Ann Police quickly apprehended the individuals responsible for the crime. Although this was an isolated incident, Megan suffered multiple injuries including head and facial trauma as well as a broken wrist. Megan does not currently have steady employment nor does she have medical insurance to cover existing and future medical expenses pertaining to the injuries she sustained during the robbery. Medical personnel indicate it is possible that Megan will have to go through extensive orthopedic surgery and rehab for her broken wrist. Megan has no way to garner the medical care she needs. Therefore, the St. Ann Police Department, which operates under the COP’s (Community Oriented Policing) philosophy, and is a progressive law enforcement agency, would like to express their empathy to Megan in regards to the chain of events that occurred. Therefore, on behalf of Megan and her family, the St Ann Police Department has established a GoFundMe account in an effort to assist Megan with her medical expenses. Upon completion of the drive, all monies raised will be donated to Megan and her family to assist them in their time of need.
