Friends Of Tent City, Hope Haven Project

Friends of Tent City is an outreach ministry that works with the Victor Valleys homeless population. Our goals are to help our friends reconcile with God, their families and reenter the community as productive and respected members. The Hope Haven Project is underway to build a legal area with facilities to provide transitional to long term housing, along with various programs to help our friends reach these goals. This project will permit us to provide specific services, such as Alcoholics Anonymous (A.A.), Narcotics Anonymous (N.A.), counseling, mental health resources and faith based programs and many other programs all in one location. LOVE and RESPECT are the key elements for the success of the Hope Haven Project.

We have teams that go out weekly providing food, water, bible studies, and clothing. Showing LOVE to others and offering HOPE is of the utmost importance to Friends of Tent City. A great deal of time is spent just listening and praying with our friends. LOVE started this organization and LOVE will continue to be our main mission.

Many of us have been blessed with families that love and care for us; it breaks my heart to know that so many of our friends do not have this luxury. LOVE is powerful; we can already see it working and changing lives in the community. Will you pray for us? Will you give a buck or two with the hope of helping a stranger to have a better life? Do you have a talent, time or treasure you can share? Please assist us in helping our homeless population. Once this project is up and running, we hope to reach out to other communities and teach them to do the same. All funds donated will be used to purchase the land, permits and facilities needed to build this legal area and continue the healing process.
