My name is Rosanna Hudgins and I live in Minneapolis, MN. I am proposing this campaign in order to fulfill one very important personal goal in my life.
I need to pay off an unpaid tuition obligation of $2700.00 for my undergraduate degree, so that I may complete a Masters' degree in Health and Human Services Administration that I had begun back in 1996. I have been accepted back into the program at the St. Mary's University of Minnesota, (Minneapolis graduate campus), but because it has been more than five years, the university no longer has a certified copy of my B.A. transcript. My application process cannot move forward until St. Mary's has the certified transcript from St. Catherine's.
St. Catherine's University is withholding my final certified transcript for my B.A./B.S.W degree because the expenses for my final semester were not included in the consolidated student loan payments that I've been making for years. I have spoken to the St. Catherine's accounting office and they have offered this settlement of the debt to release my transcript. The amount owed cannot be consolidated into my current student loan payments.
I would like to have the funds soon as possible, in order to join the next cohort of students for the spring semester, ideally by March 25, 2017.
Since I moved back to Minnesota in 2003 after living in other parts of the U.S., I have worked hard to recover and stablize my life physically, emotionally and financially. As it tends to happen, everyday life got in the way of my intention to finish my degree sooner. I am now working two jobs, six days a week to support myself - keeping my home in good order, taking care of my health, safety and survival needs and contributing to the communities that I love. The completion of the M.A. will allow me to further contribute to my communities, as a teacher, administrator, organizer, creative performer and community activist. And, because I'm getting older, completing my MA degree will also open doors to an increased income, allowing me to maintain my home, my health and future needs. I am totally committed to completing this degree!
Words cannot express how thankful I would be to those who would contribute to the completion of my goal. I would be willing to offer a token of my appreciation to the three highest bidders in several ways. I am offering....
