MCC Fire Recovery Fund

Founded in 1889 the Middlesboro Country Club is named "The Oldest Continuously Played Course in the US". The course was the place to be back in the day with the rich history our city, Middlesboro KY holds. MCC was taken into new ownership in November 2015, by Samson Bailey and his company Golf Preservations Inc. Since the take over we have re-done all 9 green complexes, total remodel to both men and women’s restrooms, and a facelift to the entire clubhouse. This course has become more than a "country club" to the community and the staff, this is a place hold promise to a great future. 

 

Tragically on February 29, 2016 we suffered a fire. The fire was in our maintenance shop where all of our equipment, mowers, fertilizers, sprayers, spreaders etc. was stored. We also lost 27 golf carts. This has been a devastating blow.

 

As if that weren't enough, we've found that we've been given a very shady insurance policy... Which is going to prove to be a long process. We want to continue to improve this course, and bring it back to life, we hope with the help of our supporters we can continue to push forward and continue with the process.
