BB&N proudly supports Kliptown Youth Program (KYP), an afterschool tutoring organization in Kliptown, South Africa. Even now, 20 years later, townships like Kliptown suffer the devastating blows inflicted by apartheid. Thulani Madondo founded KYP in 2007 in order to heal South Africa's wounds by focusing on the future generation; he believes that education is the difference between a life of inherited poverty and a life of prosperity.
Children at KYP benefit from excellent tutoring, meals, and support from faculty and friends--but the program is only seven years old, and support is greatly needed.
