From Natalie Williams:
"This is the hardest thing I have ever had to write, but I wanted to let all of our family and friends know what is going on.
Yesterday morning Sunday April 14th, Jimmy was found unresponsive at work by a coworker. He was transported to Palomar where he was sedated and intubated. The CT scan showed he has at least 2 skull fractures and significant bleeding. With an intracranial pressure (ICP) that was very elevated and not responding to medication, the neurosurgeon felt the best course of action would be to perform a craniotomy. Although the surgery went well, the neurosurgeon said that Jimmy has severe bleeding and contusions (bruising) all over his brain. The good news is that since the surgery his ICP has stabilized and his vitals all look good.
What does this mean for Jimmy? We just don’t know. We just have to wait and see how much damage (hopefully nothing) was done. I have never wanted answers about something more in my life than at this moment, but I too am at the mercy of time.
I will be posting periodic updates on my page because it is hard to respond to everyone individually with so much going on right now. I want everyone to feel free to contact me, I appreciate it more than you know, but please be patient with me if I don’t get back to you right away. That’s why I decided to start posting updates on FB so you all can be up to date on his condition without having to wait for me to respond to you. Other people may be posting updates on my behalf as well.
Jimmy’s fire family can also contact Brandon Montgomery for updates as he is acting as the point person on this situation.
Jimmy is the best person I know. I can’t and don’t ever want to imagine a world with him, the real him, the Jimmy before Sunday, not in it. Please pray for him. Pray for our children who need their dad to come back to them. Thank you all. We love you very much."
