Dear Family and Friends,
It is with great sadness that the family of Dante Richard Bautista Batimana announce his untimely death on January 28, 2019. His life was taken from him as a result of a violent murder in his own home. A homicide investigation has been opened and underway. The family is stunned by the sudden loss and mourning has been overwhelming in such tragic circumstances.
Dante was small in stature but his personality was larger than life. He was a boundless entrepreneur who believed in the American dream and the idea of endless possibility. He loved life and a good party. He'll be remembered for his vivid stories and ideas, outlandish humor, and his unwavering love for the Los Angeles Lakers.
He is survived by his son Danny, daughter Meli, grandson River James, and his beloved pups Cabo and Midnight. They are grateful for the outpouring from the community as they grieve and seek justice.
We are raising funds to help pay for funeral and memorial costs, and support for the family through the ongoing investigation.
