"Tell your story" says the title above this editable box... I would be typing until at least September and wouldn't get past the prologue... so... since I am wanting to keep it brief, I'll just stick to the highlights:
God is doing a work in me ! ...and for the next growth spurt you get the opportunity to be involved through giving towards my mission trip during my 2nd year at Charis Bible College ❤ There are several destinations available but I am hoping to get to Brazil.
The photo I'm using for this page is of my baptism in 2016, I chose it because it was a truly joyful moment of great peace where I felt genuinely complete and whole within. You wouldn't know it from the photo but it was very cold and rainy that day and I was in a paddling pool in an open car park! I could not feel this ...because it was well with my soul.
I had identified as a Christian for fifteen years before that photo was taken but it wasn't until 2013 that I had a true spiritual awakening and life as I knew it changed dramatically and I began to earnestly pursue God.
In the journey so far I have discovered despite myself how much God loves me, you and everyone else, complete and unconditionally, ALWAYS and forever.
I have discovered despite myself that Christ is alive in me and a personal relationship with the Living God is available to all those who seek it, no prior criteria or qualifications are required.
I have discovered despite myself that through this relationship we receive supernatural power to effortlessly change from within and overcome any difficulty or situation even illness, insecurity, inadequacy, depression, addiction, bereavement...there's nothing too difficult or too great for Him!
I have experienced so much of His faithfulness, been delivered from so much that hindered me, been blessed in every area of my life and encountered such great freedom that a deep sense of gratitude has taken root in my heart and I can't help but yearn to share my experiences, testimonies and the good there is in Christ with others.
If you know me, you will know I have a heart to love on and help particularly those who identify as addicts, alcoholics, those in bondage to any mind altering substances and/or suffering with mental health problems. Helping them find freedom in Christ is I believe my calling and God's purpose for me.
My heart lit up when I saw Brazil come up as one of the possible destinations, I dismissed it immediately thinking it is too long a flight and too high an amount to raise...but my heart does not care for such constraints for it is after all inspired by the Holy Spirit and the desire remained.
Weeks later when I enquired about what the Brazil Mission Team would likely be doing, it should not have come as a surprise to hear they would be working at a Rehab Facility !!!!

In giving towards my mission trip, I hope you feel you get to be a part of what I am seeking to accomplish through Christ in me.
Lives can be changed and lives can be saved, not just for today but for all eternity and all who give play as important a part as those who go.
"The share of the man who stayed with the supplies is to be the same as that of him who went down to the battle. All shall share alike." 1 Samuel 30:22-24
I have set a limit for the amount I need in order to go but if God places a desire in your heart to give over and above this, any surplus funds are welcome as I will add them to the general Missions fund at college.
