Habitat for Humanity MightyMac Swim

Salutations Everyone! 

 This year is a very BIG year for me in the triathlon world and as I continue on the pursuit to become a pro triathlete. As I chase that dream/goal, I cannot stop but to try and lend a hand to others in need at any given opportunity.

So this year instead of opening a GoFund me for my triathlon journey, I chose to do one for the Mighty Mac Swim event that their sole purpose is to raise money and help make a positive impact on many lives through Habitat for Humanity of Michigan! 

 The Mighty Mac Swim is an epic annual crossing of the Straits of Mackinac between Michigan’s peninsulas, alongside the iconic Mackinac Bridge. Only 80 swimmers are accepted into this race and I was fortunate enough to be one of those swimmers.

100% of the money is going directly to the Mighty Mac Swim fundraiser for the Habitat for Humanity of Michigan.

 Swimmers MUST meet the following bi-monthly fundraising milestones and turn in their funds so they are received in Habitat for Humanity of Michigan's office by the following dates to remain eligible to participate in the Mighty Mac Swim.

 2/29/15 - $1,200

4/30/16 - $2,400

6/30/16 - $3,600

8/31/16 - $4,800

 
There is only so many ways one person can help others with their limited resources and abilities. This is one of those ways that 'THROUGH A SPORT' (specially one I owe a lot to) I can try to do something. 

 With the help of the many that supported me and cheered me on, as well as many of those just wanting to do something in their part to help another we can easily surpass and shatter this goal and help make a difference in peoples life’s.

 No donation or help for this cause is too small and everything helps. So if you please can me help by either donating or just sharing the crap out of this so others may see it and maybe lend a hand too!

 If anyone has any ideas for fund raising that I can do with a group or alone PLEASE!! Share that with me so I can start putting them together and raise that money!

I’ll also continue to train my heart out so when I do swim this event I make everyone proud!
