Bill Montgomery BEATING Cancer Fund

Hello friends, 

This is Ray Alba, long time cyclist and good friend of Bill Montgomery, a cyclist and man that I believe every serious NY area cyclists should know or knows.  

Bill recently confided to me that he has stomach cancer and that the odds of him beating it are good but, that it would take a fight and may require surgery at some point in time.  Well the time is now and sadly, even with insurance, the burden of paying for surgery and medical attention isn't pretty.

Currently Bill is fast tracked for surgery this Thursday 1/14/16 and he must come up with at least 7 to 10, 000 dollars as payment to the surgeon; a surgeon that will not remove Bill's entire stomach and one that has perfected a technique so that Bill can survive and have better outcomes for success. He will also have 80% of his stomach rather than none.  

Why am I telling you this?  Because Bill is a friend and he has been there for the cycling community providing selfless acts of help to enable us cyclist to race. He was there for us and now it's time to help a fellow cyclist and friend but, I can't do it alone. I need your help. Bill needs it and needs it now. 

We have all lost too many friends to cancer and it would pain me if we lose another one so soon that we can prevent.  We all should want Bill to survive and provide him with the best outcome.
