fixing my car's radiator

Whelp, I've hit another financial speedbump (as if I haven't already ran into enough of those this year).

I'm going to keep this short (the long version is where I tell you all the other stuff that I've dealt with so far this year, and the long version works much better over, say.. wine or coffee or cuddles). I finally had my mechanics look into the coolant leak that my car is experiencing, and what they discovered is that my coolant isn't the only thing on the fritz - something from the road hit my radiator and there's a giant hole that's leaking transmission fluid, too. It's too big to patch, and I need to have my entire radiator replaced (amongst other things relating to leaks - not the tasty food kind of leek, but the annoying kind where stuff drips where it isn't supposed to be dripping). I've been cautioned to drive my car as little as possible until I can have it taken care of..

Saving up the money would already be troublesome at best if I didn't have any other financial obligations, but I'm still making my way through soul-sucking car payments. Having to save for something as expensive as a radiator replacement around what I'm already dealing with is going to take months, and the thought of having to rely on my ever-patient family for my transportation needs for that long is enough to make me want to take a nap forever. 

So, I'm asking for help. Any little bit is appreciated, but if you're able to give me $20+ I'll crochet a little turtle for you like the one in the picture, only with whichever colors you'd want. If you live close to me, I'll give you the turtle in person. (if you want something that isn't a turtle, let me know and we'll work out details)
