Rescue Horse Owen

Before we start I would like today that
Owen has been reported to RSPCA, council and police.
We have started this gofundme page for hope that the horse in the picture will get the attention he needs. His name is Owen. We found Owen on the 25th of April. We believe he is 18 years old.
The story of Ownen.
We found this beautiful gelding standing under a tree in the forestry along one of the tracks. His face and brands have been removed from the photo for his own protection. As we approached this beautiful boy he didn't move just stood there. Luckily I had some rope in my car and made a temporary rope halter. After waiting around with him trying to get him to drink and eat for 40mimutes finally the float had arrived we loaded him up and took him home with no hassles at all. Owen is very emaciated, he has perked up since we have had him and it's only been a day. I would hate to imagine what would have happend if we didn't stop to have a look at Owen.
Owen Needs your Help.
Ownen needs his teeth and hoofs done. He needs to see a vet. Unfortunately the only vet that will see horses who haven't been Hendra vac is 2 hours away from his location. He needs appropriate food, he needs rugs leading up to winter, he needs his vaccines. He is very beat up, his rain scold will need medical attention. He has various open wounds and Abscess that need medical attention. He needs brushes and a halter. Owen needs medical wound dressings and medical ointment to help heal his wounds.
What we are asking.
All we are asking if you could kindly donate a small amount to our gofundme page. Myself and the lady who found him wouldn't be able to cover these expenses on our own. Every dollar would count.
In return.
We are willing to offer photos of Ownes progress, and regular updates on how he is going. In the near future Owen will need to be relocated to a new home once back on his feet. He would make a perfect companion horse. If you wish to adopt Owen later down the track please send us a message.
