Barbara Porwit inspires and empowers countless others with her art, specifically the Breast Cancer Superheroes Portrait Project, through which she invites subjects to reimagine their experiences with breast cancer. And now she needs our help.
The Global Alliance for Arts & Health is presenting its 25th anniversary conference and celebration April 9-12 in Houston, TX, and Barbara's presentation abstract for BCSPP has been accepted. This is a perfect forum for the message of hope and healing Barbara's paintings can be to all whose lives are touched by this disease, celebrating and inspiring the superhero in every one of us.
Let's get her there by raising funds for her travel, lodging and registration.
