I am Bridget Stevens furnace man, Paul Betlyn, who fixed her furnace for no charge because her husband was deployed abroad. Her deployed husband only reveives 2 four day passes for the year. Bridget and other families like her have to fly oversees to see their spouses. We are raising money to send these families oversees to visit during those long deployments. At this time we are final goal is to send families like hers from each state.

This is an ongoing campaign. This is in reponse to Bridget Stevens huge facebook post about our deployment special of $1.00 to fix her furnance.

Because of their huge sacrafices, it would mean a great deal to all of us to bring these families together during these long deployements.

God bless America and God bless our troops!

Families can go to some locations for deployment visits. I recently spent time with my husband in Central America. Space A is unreliable and you can be waiting for weeks for an available flight and the locations are slim. We paid out of pocket for our time together. This was the first out of 5 deployments that my husband wasnt in a war zone and I was able to visit. The time is much needed to keep connected. Thanks for doing this for the military families.

I have read some of the Anti Military comments below and I am disgusted and their parents and grandparents would be ashamed of them as they fail to remember that without our past vets and current military you would not be able to post freely like you did

I don't want to be "that guy," but I am a 3 times deployed Army National Guard veteran. Family can fly "Space A" (Space available) when a Guardsman is on active duty. They DO NOT need this money, but obviously won't say "no" either. I am really curious about the length of deployment if this woman's husband only has " 2 four day passes for the year." I had three week R and R's in all my 1 year+ deployments. (Not including travel time back to the USA) I don't speak for all Guard vets, obviously, but something about this rubs me the wrong way.

As a local HVAC technician I have to say, Thank you. It warms my heart to see that there are still contractors out there who care enough about people to do things like this. Kudo's to you Mr.Betlyn and I hope you are staying busy through this cold snap. :)

My husband is deployed but where he goes we can never visit. And no R & R. I have never heard of family being able to visit their deployed service members.

Paul I commend you. Very admirable. Don't let the cry babies like this guy Mike Terry, (who has nothing good at all to say about what your doing) bring you down. I fully support your efforts. Anyone that has anything negative to say about such a positive situation is just a miserable loser. Thank you sir. And if I lived in your area, you would be my only call when having heating problems.

Space a is almost a thing of the past anymore. We don't have it at the location I'm at! My husband is also deployed and is in an area we could have went to visit for the holidays! It would have been $4500 just for plane tickets for me and two kids who miss their dad a ton! Even the $1000 I spent taking them home so we wouldn't be alone for another holiday was hard! I'm still paying on it. Yes it's a part of my lifestyle but I've also given up my life for it too! I had a wonderful career and now moving here have to start all over again! Plus what someone said about car repairs and other large expenses that come up! Life goes on without them but things break and if someone out of the goodness of their heart wants to help let them! I've helped more people than I know when I could! This is a wonderful thing!

You know Ive lived a less then easy life and have seen a lot of things and really not much surprises me but I seen this story on FOX , I come here to donate and I end up reading the comments below and the fact that anybody would leave any sort a negative message whatsoever about what this guy is trying to do is a surprise thats for sure. As for Paul , my mom drank out of a coffee cup for as long as I can remember that said: Dont Let The Bastards Get You Down. I live by this , just saying :) . Keep up the good work Sir.

As a retired veteran I can honestly say to the gentleman who brought up Space A travel that although Space A can be available, there is NO guarantee they are going to leave or get back in time of their scheduled time off. I think this is great.
