Stewart Family

West Exe NC are honoured to have the wonderful Stewart family in our club and we want this to be the best, happiest, fun day... please please support us... registration forms for team entries will be available this week, along with a flyer, which I would be so very grateful if all my friends could share xx

I am completely humbled and totally grateful to Westexe Netball Club for what is about to happen!
As I’m sure you all know I was diagnosed with Kidney Cancer earlier this year and whilst our hopes were high that by removing my right Kidney I would be cured of the vile disease, unfortunately that’s not the way it played out and my cancer spread.
In our hour of need, our extended family, Westexe Netball Club, have planned a charity netball day, specifically for “The Stewart Family”
The netball club have been a massive influence on both my girls, Bronwen and Freya, taking two very shy and quiet girls, and turning them into very confident and outgoing young ladies. I will be forever grateful to the club just for the influence on my girls, but to organise a charity day for me and my family to help us when the going will be tough is something beyond my wildest wishes.
The event will take place at Westexe School on Sunday 2nd September 10am - 5pm and will be a fun filled day of netball, stalls, face painting and the like. The theme will be Disney as my family are Disney nuts!
It will be mixed netball teams (fancy dress? I’ll let you know) and I would be delighted if I was able to get some of my “Rugby Family” to take part in the day and get a few teams to enter to show the young girlies (especially my two girls) that once upon a time we were athletes!
It will be a great opportunity to get all my friends together and have a giggle at my expense! There are so many people I have yet to see but have been avoiding! This will be the ideal time to catch up as I won’t be able to escape!!!!
