A recent quote of one of the infinite ways Jascent wanted to contribute to this society. But Jay's personal vision was tragically and unjustly cut short on Sunday August 30th, in view of the very peers his vision sought to aid.
Anyone who knew Jascent, even for just a minute, was inspired by his quest for truth, his passion for life, unending determination, and his faith in a better world. The energy he put into this earth was immense. It was warm, genuine, passionate, and resolute. And the only compensation he sought, was for us to listen, through his words and through his music.
This fund was set up as an appreciation to Jay. To lay him to rest in a way he deserves. Please help his family in this endeavor, every little bit helps.
Our goal for this fund may be ambitious. But if there is anything Jay taught us. It's not to be afraid, to speak up for what you want, and to persevere always.
We love and miss you Jay. The earth has wilted without you.
