Send Fargo Home

The first time I met Fargo was about 12 years ago, my mom stood between him and a very angry farmer with his shotgun. We had gotten a call from Fargo's owner (a friend of a friend) who was working out of state. He told us that Fargo was staying at his uncle's farm and he wanted him gone, or else he would shoot him. Mom went to the farm and sure enough the farmer was true to his word. Mom took Fargo to our ranch, his owner came by a few times but it was pretty clear that he didn't want him either. Mom paid for his feed, shots, hoof trimming and vet bills for the next ten years. Fargo grew up with us girls on the ranch, all the neighborhood kids learned to ride on him and he even went to a couple of school shows. He was just part of the famly, one of Mom's "kids". With all us girls grown and moving on, trouble hit and Mom had to give up the ranch. I gave Fargo to a very kind woman who loved him until about a year and a half later when I received a call from the woman who was too sick to care for him any longer and had no choice but to send him to "the sale". Every horse person knows what happens to an almost 20 year old roping horse with leg problems!! I took him back, but with money being the issue poor Fargo got bounced around for the past year living in round pens of friends or turned out on very small lots. Nobody wanted him. My mom has found a forever home for him in Florida but we have to get him there first. We have almost run out of time and money and exhausted all of our efforts. I can't save to send him to Florida while paying for his upkeep in Tennessee, as I live in Texas now. I have less than 3 weeks to move him before he gets sent to "the sale" where he will be sold by THE POUND. Mom keeps telling me that with God all things are possible, and we keep praying for help with Fargo. This is truly my last resort, I have less than 3 weeks to get together $800 for his health papers and transportation. Once we reach our goal Fargo will be able to live out his life at his forever home. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated, I just can't let him go to "the sale".
