Becoming A Captain - Chicago

Hi,My name is Greg Ray and I’m currently a college student at Illinois State. I have been around boats for a fair portion of my life starting off with odd jobs. For example, I started off cleaning boats for different people in an attempt to become a member of the maritime business. As time passed on I eventually became a deckhand for IslandPartyBoat. My job is to Assists guests to ensure they are enjoying themselves, provide safety for the customers, watch the captains blindsides and other various activities while onboard the boats. Now that I have all of my sea time, my new goal is to become a Captain. In order for me to accomplish this goal, I’ll need help from the Maritime community and other various donors. Every dime donated will be towards Captains courses and necessary materials to help me obtain my Captain’s License.
