Our dear friends Mike and Carla Brown's 9 year old daughter Jada has been sick on and off for the past year. This past Friday the doctors at Essentia Health in Detroit Lakes gave Mike and Carla the news that no parent would want to hear. Jada has been diagnosed with Polycythemia Vera, which is a slow-growing blood cancer in which the bone marrow makes too many red blood cells which causes your blood to get too thick. This disease gets worse very slowly, usually over many years. Jada will need several different types of treatments to lower her number of blood cells.  Please pray for Jada and her family. We are hoping that anyone who can will donate to help them overcome the unexpected financial situation they now face. We will keep you updated as her journey continues.
