Memorial Service

$27,215 of $100k goal

Raised by 817 people in 34 months
Dennis Murphy  NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ
As a reminder - the money being raised is to be used at the McCaw family's discretion. In addition to holding memorial services in two states, there are many other costs associated with such a terrible situation. The goal amount does not necessarily reflect the monetary amount sought after, it merely exists to accomodate any and all donations. Thank you all for your support and questions!

The goal amount has been raised solely because of the amount of donations made in such a short time. All of the proceeds will still go to the family of William McCaw, but we just wanted to make sure that no donation goes unheard. Thank you for all the love that you have shown to both Billy and his family!

This page is to help the family of William McCaw in order to help fund his memorial services. Please help us raise money in order to aid his family in their time of need. His family and friends have experienced a terrible tragedy. For those who are not familiar with the story, here is a link:

Every donation helps, and all proceeds go towards the McCaw family and their memorial services for Billy.

Thank you

Donating money is a voluntary thing, so this only speaks to the love Billy had for others and got in return. The amount of money means nothing it's a symbolic gesture and there's a little bit more to losing a son than covering the funeral costs

Hey guys, just a reminder - I understand that everyone's emotions are running a little bit hot, but I'm sure Billy would want us to keep it clean with the online comments. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, and we need to realize that not everyone is so close to the situation or affected by it. That being said, I appreciate all of the feedback that everyone has been giving and I want to thank everyone for their support! - Dennis

Seriously Rebecca? They don't need to prove anything to you. Why don't you keep your idiotic comments to yourselves? This page is for people to make donations to the family that is suffering through a tragedy that is unimaginable and should not be experienced by anybody. If you have an issue with it, don't donate.

Like Dennis said before, the goal amount was raised to accommodate the growing number of donations. In perfect example, within less than two days did it surpass the original goal. In their time of extreme bereavement should a family not have to prove where the money that Billy's friends who loved him so much and made donations in his honor goes.

Really 100,000 for funeral cost? The family will have to prove where all the money goes. 100,000 is ridiculous.

It was raised in order to accommodate the growing number of donations. The goal does not necessarily have a monetary value, it is mainly to help the family as much as possible - first and foremost to offset the memorial service expenses as they plan to hold them both in New Jersey and their home state of Tennessee. Thank you for your question and support!
