Mural Expressions WX Open Air Mural Museum

The ARTners, are a non-profit 501c3, who support and promote Sacramento ARTists, and provides creative art and services to youth, adults and elderly with specialized events.
We are here today to raise money for an art project that we have proposed to the City of Sacramento and Caltrans, to create an open air mural museum in Sacramento CA. We proposed to paint 100 structural columns located from 20th Street to 24 Street, between W and X Streets, with rich cultural murals 360 degrees, that represent our city's cultural diversity and equity. We would like this mural museum to be painted by Sacramento Artists 80% if not more, since this is what we as ARTners do. The other would be painted by Artists within California.
This open air museum will be magnificent!!! Imagine, this would be one of the largest outdoor mural museums in the United States! Four blocks long and columns painted with multi-cultural images that speak to us with messages! Educate us! Look like us! Cultural Equality in a creative form is very much needed in our city.
This would be a great place for tourists to visit. This would beautify an underutilized dark area, currently only used for parking and the Sacramento Antique Faire, a place for future venues, a place for children to have field trips, a place to admire art that is free and open 365 days a year, 24 hours a day.
Sacramento Artists we need you to apply! Businesses we need you to support! Art galleries Art organizations we need your support!
This is not a mural festival, it's not an art competition! It's not about winning! It's about us! So either you are in or you can watch on the sidelines, however we are inviting you now so that you can say you helped build this.
We have a better chance of this getting approved with the City of Sacramento and Caltrans if we do this together. Strength in Numbers!!

Our project proposal is in action and we have been directed by the City of Sacramento to have a percentage of funding and to have all artists submissions finalized. We are committed to meeting our goals!! Each step brings us closer to our application submission. The money donated to this project will remain in this go fund me account until the submission to Caltrans.
