**UPDATE** We are fundraising for a bus to conversion to benifit Osiris and his dad Jesse. This opportunity will give Jesse and Osiris a place to live and help Jesse reach his dream! Let's keep helping this family. We have updated this GoFundMe to look for a private purchase of a bus as we were not able to reach the fundraising total needed to work with our local nonprofit that does bus conversions. We are very thankful for how far this has come however! ❤ Yesterday something amazing happened in Medford, OR. The community and a couple rented out an entire hotel to help house the homeless in the freezing temperatures. Melissa Mayne, of Compassion Highway Project got these rooms filled and people warm. Our local Joy Riders club raised money for pizzas so all could have full bellies. One of the most excited to receive that pizza was an 8 year old boy - Osiris. Today is Osiris's birthday. We would like the community to come together to make this an extra special day for Osiris. Right now they have 2 nights hotel stay and we would like to see this expanded. The first priority is to give him more warm nights. Osiris likes nerf guns and skateboarding. We would like to get him some time at Jac's Battlefield (nerf gun play time) and a skateboard. We would like to get him a gift card to get something for himself and are facilitating a cake, dinner, a haircut. It would amazing to get some leads on housing for this single dad and his son as well. If you can help please do. Let's make this a day to remember for this young man! questions, comments, or concerns regarding this GoFundMe? Feel free to contact me 541-930-1088 Joyriders4life@gmail.com

There is a local bus we are looking at! We have had to shift gears to focus on a private party bus purchase as we are still a long way from the needed amount to work with the local non profit that does bus rehabilitation.
We will be looking for help from contractors, painters, and volunteers for the bus rehabilitation. If you have experience in this realm please reach out! We are also still raising funds for the rehabilitation.

***Activity and Bus Update***
Over the last week Osiris has had his birthday fun and celebration continued! He went to go check out monster trucks and a play for the first time!
Here he is meeting monster truck driver and checking out some student art during the Crater High School Cinderella production. He had a blast at both!
Also, and update on the bus - We are so excited that this GoFundMe has come this far! We are still a ways away from where we need to be fund wise to work with the nonprofit here that rehabs buses. We have opened up to looking at all options, including buses for sale within several hundred miles. If you have any leads please let us know!
We also are investigating more fundraising ideas. Osiris loves wire wrapping crystals and several businesses are interested in donating items for a raffle. If you have items to raffle to raise funds or ideas please contact us!

Well, today felt like magic. Osiris had his surprise birthday celebration.
It started off with meeting him at the hotel and him opening several bags of new clothes for him to pick put the outfit he wanted to wear today. This good man picked batman! I was relieved as the birthday was all batman themed!
He was pretty excited when he arrived at Jac's Battlefield for his party! Friends and community members hid under the table jumped up with a surprise!
Then he was off to play and intense game of nerf gun battles. There was fun for all involved! Pizza, drink, batman masks, party bags with toys, and cake and icecream followed. His smile said it all!
He was excited and thankful with each gift opening. The nerf gun and ripstick were his favorites! After opening gifts he had to just sit a minute to take it all in. It was a moment of disbelief, joy, and shock. That moment will forever be etched in my heart. I feel blessed to have gotten to share this day.
After the party we went over to Ashland to check out the bus rehabilitations in process and the bus that could be potentially their home. Wouldn't this be the most amazing gift??
Please enjoy watching this day!
Please if you can - share this GoFundMe so we can get Osiris this home!!!
