Kobe Needs Your Help - Cat Seizures
Donation protected
Kobe Dimmesdale Lynn Is our constant companion and he needs medical help. He has had a series of grand mal seizures starting last month. We have studied intensely and have altered his food, (food allergies can cause seizures), and have Kobe on joint supplements. It is possible that he has a displaced hip and needs an Assisi Loop for pain management. Kobe went to the vet in January and was given a clean bill of health, so his symptoms are troubling. Kobe's seizures are unpredictable and violent; he has injured himself accidently and his caretakers. Immediately after, he is a little worse for wear, but coherent and loving.
Now both of his caretakers are in extreme financial distress and cannot afford a vet visit, bloodwork, acupuncture, medications, or any aftercare. He may need a brain scan, but we are hopeful a blood screen will tell us if he has high or low potassium, (a common reason for cat seizures). Please know that we researched Pet Care Assistance programs; none are accepting applications for funding or care until further notice.
It absolutely breaks my heart not to have the money to care for such a sweet being when he has been there for me through life's challenges. Kobe is a nebelung adoption, a gift from a family friend. He was born the runt of the litter, but his personality is bigger than life. He goes by many names to his friends and associates: Babyman, Shadow Man, Gentleman Caller, Big Man, Dandy Man, Pantiloon, The Sheriif, Sexy Cat, Heartbreaker, (we have more than a few friends that have lost their heart to him). Kobe is charismatic, and a superb listener. If you have met him, you know he is a loving, gentle and assertive cat; he is also the proud father/brother of our feral Delilah, who treats him as her mother. Kobe loves petticoats, feather boas, silk, leather - and he is the true creative genius in our home. Please help our little drag cat reclaim the full and vibrant life he is capable of. Thank you for your time and kind thoughts.
