Help Us Escape

We're a queer trans couple who have, for the past three years, been trying to escape living in the south. When I came out to my family in college, they reacted really poorly, ending up with me being hospitalized. I have tried, over several years, to move to New York City, where we can be far from my harmful family and where my wife can get the healthcare she has been without. We are dying here. My wife has been without hormones. I have been without medication, therapy, and any access to gender affirming treatment. Both my wife and I are growing more and more depressed, disillusioned, and suicidal. We are constantly driven out of any space we try to find to help us cope and find friends. Without help we will die here. Pictured is our dog, Sweet Boy. She's kept us alive this long, and we want to find a safe space for her. We need enough money to rent a vehicle to go up, put a deposit on an apartment, and have some money to live on until I find a job and have paycheck come through. Minimum is probably $3000, any extra will be used to help with payments and get us comfortable and able to live. Thank you so much. Donating literally saves our lives.
