The Dipianos' are one of the most loving families you can ever meet: a single mom of 4 with a 6 month old granddaughter. Laura, the mother, has been struggling with life for several years. Her son, Mick, has been a integral part of The Safe Heaven's efforts, volunteering his time and energy for the sake of others. Lately, Laura's dilemma is whether she should pay the heat bill or put food out on the table for her children. She is struggling with everything and can't catch a break. Around a year ago, she found out that she had cancer. Thankfully, it is now in remission, but she has medical bills to pay, on top of the rest of the bills. She is on the verge of losing everything and needs some extra funds to pay some bills; but because she found a job, she is not eligible for those extra funds.
