I’m asking for support for my amazingly strong aunt, Nicole Vantilburg. She is currently battling a very aggressive rare type of breast cancer that is trying to take over her body. I started this Go fund me to relieve her with the financial stress of day to day needs. She’s a working single mother trying to provide for her son Cameron. However with driving to numerous treatments, being on a strict diet, household needs and medical costs her funds are diminishing fast. No one should have to feel the fear and stress of losing the roof above their heads while trying to kick cancers ass.
Please help with donating anything you can. Every little bit can make a difference! Prayers are always welcomed as well (: Please keep my family in your thoughts. I unfortunately have lost both grandparents to cancer and I’ll be damned if I lose my aunt to it as well.
Here’s the back story of her cancer:
In 2017 she was diagnosed with inflammatory breast cancer at Harbor UCLA. She then had several different types of chemo over a 8 month period, but nothing would stop the beast, so in May she had a mastectomy along with 28 lymph nodes removed leaving her right arm to fend for itself against infections. After surgery she was treated with radiation daily for 8 weeks. After such burning of the skin, the cancer still remained in her cells. She was then transferred to City of Hope for clinical trials because there was nothing more Harbor UCLA could do for her. After weeks of Chemo once again, her CT scan showed another tumor under the right armpit near the upper back and several blood clots leaving her right arm in pain and her right hand and fingers numb making it hard for her to even write her name let alone work on her computer. The tumor is currently pushing on her nerves causing pain to shoot down her arm and now they are not sure when or if it will go away. She currently has to be on Morphine for the pain and to help her sleep. But unfortunately she is still waking up multiple times a night unable to sleep due to the pain. Shes still undergoing chemo as we speak and now might have to go through radiation under her arm depending on the results in the next few weeks.
