Was so very shocked and saddened to hear this. Shaun played on our spring soccer teams and a friend of our sons in high school. We remember him as if it were yesterday. Our blessings to his family. Bill and Virginia Sumpter.

Shaun & I go back to the glory days of Thunder ClubSoccer winning State Cup in 1978, many league championships/tournaments. Then playing football together in 1985 at Royal where he our star QB. He will be missed, but never forgotten as one of the best Athletes to ever play at Royal, and a very caring, loving friend. The Byrd family extends our sincere sympathy to the family. Rest in Peace Shaun
