Dad’s Heart Surgery

These last few days have been very traumatic for our small family as our Dad has been in the ICU after a heart surgery. We’re international students in Canada, and our Dad lives in India so we don’t get to see him often. He visited us for the holidays and we were enjoying some quality time with him when we had to rush him to the hospital.

The surgery costs, medications, doctor’s fees and hospital stays have been very expensive.Our dad has spent all his savings on our mom’s battle with cancer which lasted few years. Our mother passed away leaving us in his care and he has done everything possible to provide us with good education. He is taking care of us and our grandparents all by himself.
