Miguel is a promising 18-year old from San Diego. He recently graduated from Monte Vista High School and is enrolled in Grossmont College. He is passionate about helping others and is learning to become a mentor for at-risk youth through Outdoor Outreach's Leadership Program. Just recently he began working at Jack in the Box to help support his mother with the family's expenses.
Tragically, on January 1, 2016, Miguel was struck in the head by a bullet in a freak New Year's accident. He is currently in the Intensive Care Unit at Scripps Mercy Hospital and is bravely fighting to recover. The best way to help Miguel right now is to support his family through this difficult time. Funds will help cover the family's basic living expenses including rent and food as well as those associated with his hospital stay like visitor parking passes. Just last year Miguel's father, the family's main provider, passed away from cancer. Since then, the family has been just barely getting by. Please give as generously as you can. Anything you can afford to donate will make a big difference and will help the family deal with this tragedy. Thank you!
Miguel es un joven de 18 años de San Diego. Tiene un futuro muy prometedor. Hace poco se graduo de Monte Vista High School y toma clases en Grossmont Community College. Se pasiona por ayudar a los demas y trabaja con jovenes de bajos recursos en el programa de liderazgo de Outdoor Outreach.
Desafortunadamente hace pocos dias Miguel fue balaceado en un accidente de Noche Vieja en Tijuana. Esta internado en el hospital y esta luchando con todas sus ganas para sobrevivir. La mejor manera de ayudarle es apoyar a su familia. Todas las donaciones serviran para que la familia tenga los recursos necesarios para pagar los gastos de renta, comida, y otros como el estacionamiento en el hospital. Hace poco fallecio el papa de Miguel por cancer y la familia cuenta con pocos recursos. Por favor dona la cantidad que puedas.
